Which is it $5..or $7.99 (after 20% discount)?  'Cause there is no $5 option at check out.....Also, what is the charge going to be for future updates? How often will updates come out?

The game won't be available on itch for $5 anymore. But you still can get it for $5 on my patreon. I don't plan changing prices in the future. Itch is more expensive as you'll pay one time. As for the updates, I don't have an answer. When it's ready. Once in 3-6 months, maybe sometimes even more.

Sad! I thought this game had promise, but your attitude sucks:  lack of respect for your patrons, Devil-May-Care attitude about updates, etc. Lots more (and better) AVNs to enjoy. Take care!

Pardon? What attitude?) What lack of respect?)

I answered every question honestly and politely. You must have misunderstood something. Or maybe it's my English, idk.

I don't have any updates schedule, and I'm open about it. It's impossible to stick to any schedule with such a project. My patrons know that development will take as long as it takes. Every update and scenes are different, and I can never know how long will it take me to finish. It's a creative process. Plus, I also have life and job, you know. And some other circumstances that complicate and prolong the development. 3-6 months is an optimal and reasonable development time for such games.

Devs will ALWAYS lose my support when they go from a free download to a pay per update platform.  I have no issues supporting devs, but randomly switching from a free download to pay per update without any warning is a scam in my eyes.  If you wanted to charge for this, should have done so from the get-go.  Or done a free trial with a notice that we will need to pay to finish the story.

Too many abandoned games where the devs took the money and ran. I don't trust it.

I liked this story, but refuse to pay for it after you've already had it for free for a year with absolutely no hints or notices about future plans to charge.  IDC if it's only five bucks per episode.  it's the concept of honesty and accountability.

You lost a fan moonmi.  And I'm positive I'm not the only one.  WE are your bread and butter as an indy dev.

Hey. I'm sorry to hear that.

Well it was free only because it was just a beginning. And I was a new dev. I needed more attention. That was the whole point. Make a free chapter 1 as a demo version. Who in their right mind would give their games for free unless it's a demo?)

And I didn't just randomly switch. I've talked about it in my dev updates on Patreon and mentioned it on my discord server. I know that it's something easy to miss, tho. Especially if you don't follow me, so sorry about that. But just saying it wasn't just a random thing when I decided to get greedy or something) I planned doing so from the beginning.

I do plan to include chapter 2 into the free demo version when the next chapter will be released. So it's not like you won't be able to play it for free. It's just it'll take time. Otherwise, you can always get buy it.

In any case, I'm sorry for this misunderstanding or even disappointing you. I try to be open and connected with players and always ready to hear feedback.

As it's $5 for this update, I presume paying it is not buying the whole game? So other updates will cost? Am I right?

You are buying a full game available for this moment. Meaning from the beginning to the end of current version. And yes, to get a new version when it's released, you'll have to buy it.

Will wait for the game to be finished then. Planning on Steam and/or GOG?

Someday yes.
