Several reasons, and I point at them from time to time in my public dev updates. But in short:
The largest and most devastating war since World War II is raging in Ukraine, with all the consequences that come with it.
A massive amount of planned content. This will be my biggest update yet, featuring main story progression, many lewd scenes including scenes for three different paths. Combine that with the first point, limited work time, and a heavy emotional toll.
Power issues. Again, tied to the war. Frequent blackouts mean I can’t always work on my PC.
Some scenes are particularly complex, demanding extra attention to detail and more time to get them right.
In short, if there were no war and I were living a normal life, this game would be my top priority. I’d pour all my time and energy into it with joy. In the current situation, that’s a luxury. So, I’m just going with the flow, working as I can, and the update will be ready when it’s ready. I could cut planned scenes or simplify them to release faster, but I want the game to match my original vision, not chase quick releases or profit. Yes, development is taking a while, but I hope it’s worth it and players will appreciate the effort, even if it means a longer wait.
That said, I’m on the home stretch, and the update is almost here. Stay tuned for news on my pages!

Made an account just to comment on this game. It's SO GOOD! The story is great and definitely my kind of theme. You can choose dialogue options to opt in or out of kinks you don't prefer. The animated scenes are very nice and they keep getting better and better through each update. I highly recommend this game. It's also uncomplicated to install on android. Simple download and play. I love the eternum game as well but I had to move a file or two to play it on android, this game did not require that. and while eternum is a much older visual novel and has a lot more hours of content, this visual novel is a strong tie to that visual novel. They are both my only two favorites and true master pieces! I see this game surpassing eternum for the sole fact that it has an amazing story and I can't wait to see what's in store for the next update! Keep up the good work developers! Your work so far is absolutely stunning and it definitely a work of art. Your hard work shows through every scene while still providing complete emersion!

I'm not sure what happened before as everything started up fine (including the disclaimer screen) before showing what I think was Russian text in lieu of English prompts for all the menu option choices. Having re-downloaded from here (How_To_Fix_The_Future-0.3.2-pc.zip) and unzipping it, everything's back in english now. Thank you!
Squirting is already in the game. As for the pregnancy, it might be possible in one of the endings as an episode scene. But I won't spoil anything more.

She is like a superstar that makes this game different from other games, she barely appeared in the last version, hope new version can increase her content, especially the female domination aspect. We love her!
I removed it just in case. So there'd be no misunderstandings about their relationship. Patreon bans for such content and I didn't want to risk it even though they are not related. Such a pet name may be misleading.
But I might add a function so players would type pet names themselves. Will see.
Hi, I played chapter 1, loved it! I think this game is a winner for sure. Then I bought chapter 2, but I get the error message "App not installed as a package appears to be invalid"
I have tried multiple downloads, downloaded on pc and transfer to phone, used MT Manager to re-sign the .apk, restarted phone and nothing helps... Heeeelp!
Finished chapter 2, great work on renders. I love the little cute moments between the LI's like when chloe and cathy were messing around with the hairdryer, keep that up!
As a suggestion story wise, what the people in the future need is hope. What if Chloe programs a simulation of the town in present day they all came from, initially out of homesickness perhaps. And then people from the future try the simulation and walk around Earth as it once was, Cathy, Olga, even Octavia. And this inspires them to really turn things around, to clean up their planet and rebuild, perhaps with technological assistance from space.
I love this game! There are so many fun stories and interactions with the characters! I was hoping to see more romance options with the MC with Chloe, ex-girlfriend, moon scientist woman and maybe mother! Thank you and keep up the great work!
Some animations will be reworked when I prepare the game for the Steam release. As for English, I will try to polish it as well, but it probably won't change much. Starting from Chapter 2 I write everything in English myself and my editor just proofread it. But he's also not native.
The whole of the dialogue does not need to be redone. Only a handful of some phrase maybe should be. But there are words that sometimes do not make sense, or are simply the wrong word. Example 1, MC and Cathy walking to Cathy's dad's, MC says "valley" instead of "alley".
Example 2, at the Cathy pool sex scene, MC talks about how Cathy's is getting horny but says "I'm" instead of "you're".
Things like that. There are others but these are fresh in my mind. Dialogue/text just needs some clean up.

Hi. Have you tried deleting the previous build and installing a new one? Your saves are stored separately, so don't worry about that.
Delete both of them and try again on fresh.
This worked! I had considered it but was afraid I would loose my saves, but yes, it worked and I still have my save:)
